Edit/Delete Messages
Fix or delete a message your team has already sent through WhatsApp, right inside the conversation — with no need to tell the contact separately. Part of Chat Tools.
How to use
If the workspace has more than one compatible WhatsApp connection, first choose which instance to query. The screen lists the recent messages sent by your team, with a counter showing how much time is left before each action expires.
- Edit — text messages sent by the team only, within 15 minutes of sending.
- Delete — any type of message sent by the team, within 60 hours of sending, with a confirmation before deleting it for the contact.
Note
Every edit/deletion creates an internal audit note in the conversation (logged on a best-effort basis: if the note is not saved, the action is not undone, only a warning appears). Once edited, the message gets a new identifier in WhatsApp.
Warning
Available only for WhatsApp numbers connected via QR Code — it does not work with WhatsApp API yet. If your channel is not compatible, the tool appears disabled; if you have no WhatsApp connection, the card does not even appear.
