Resume Bot Automation

If a bot stops responding, user messages may go unanswered unless an agent steps in. To prevent this, we created several ways to resume bot automation without interruptions. Let's look at each one in detail.

Basic action Resume automation

Simple and effective

You can resume automation at any point in your flow using the action node. Here's how:

• Go to the Action Node: find the point in your flow where automation needs to be resumed.
• Select Basic Actions -> Resume automation: this instantly reactivates the bot, so that it continues its tasks and responds to users.

This simple method ensures the bot gets back on track without missing a beat.

Resume in live chat

In live chat, agents usually work with limited time. To make sure automation resumes smoothly:

• Monitor the timer: a timer usually controls how long the agent's responses take.
• Click the 'X': this action closes the timer and resumes the bot's automation.
