Text Search in Live Chat
Inside a conversation already open in Live Chat, you can search for text in the message history, without having to scroll through the entire conversation manually.
How to use
- Open the desired conversation in Live Chat.
- Use the text search bar inside the conversation.
- Type the term you want to find in the message history.
"Sent by" filter
Next to the search bar, there is a filter to narrow the search by sender:
- Default (user and agent)
- User
- Agent
- Bot
- Note (internal notes)
What it is for
- Quickly find a specific piece of information (e.g. an order number) mentioned at some point in the conversation.
- Filter only what the customer said, or only the team's internal notes, without mixing everything together.
