WhatsApp Calling — Voice Calls
NicoChat supports the WhatsApp voice calling feature made available by Meta.
Enabling
- The feature is enabled via embedded signup (Meta-assisted onboarding) in the workspace's WhatsApp API account.
Answering calls
- You cannot place calls from the Live Chat.
- An AI Agent can be configured to answer incoming calls automatically, with the following options:
agent responsible for answering; waiting time before answering; AI model used; voice used in the response; call transcription; language; rules for transferring to a human agent (takeover).
Costs
- Calls made by the workspace are charged directly by Meta, according to the WhatsApp Business Platform's own pricing.
