NicoChat now allows your users to connect natively to the Claude AI platform and use the capabilities of this cutting-edge AI technology inside their chatbots.

Fetching the Claude API Key

To fetch the API key, log in to https://console.anthropic.com.

Once logged in, click Settings in the top menu.

Next, click the keys tab in the left menu and create an API key.

Integration with NicoChat

On your NicoChat workspace dashboard, click Integrations and then Claude AI, under the Artificial Intelligence tab.

Enter the API key you obtained from your Claude account and click Save. You should see a check mark indicating that the integration is complete.

Using Claude in the Flow Builder

You can use Claude in the Flow Builder through the action node. Create an action node and select the Integrations option. In the menu that appears, click Claude.

Note: The “OpenAI” System Field is used to control the chat history of the Claude actions as well as the OpenAI actions.

Clear AI Memory (Chat Completion)

This action is used to clear the “OpenAI” system field JSON. The goal is to keep the history under control and monitor the execution time of requests to avoid server timeouts and excessive token consumption.

Remember: more information to process = more token consumption.

Vision - Image to Text

This action is used to generate text from an image. The use case is that the user sends an image to Claude, which analyzes it based on the prompt and generates a result.
