Chatbase Template Configuration

Getting the Bot ID:

In Chatbase, go to the "Settings" tab of the bot you want to integrate.

Copy the bot ID for later use.

Template Installation:

In your NicoChat Dashboard, go to the "Templates" section.

Find and install the Chatbase template.

Enter the fields during installation:

Enter the bot ID in the specified field.

Set the presentation message, which will be the bot's first interaction with the user.

API Key Configuration:

Back in Chatbase, go to "Account" and create a new API key. https://www.chatbase.co/account Copy the generated API key.

Entering the API Key in NicoChat:

In NicoChat's main menu, find "NicoApps" and adjust the Chatbase settings. Enter the API key in the designated place and save the changes.

Final Adjustments

Verification and Testing:

Open the Chatbase template in the channel and select "Preview" to test whether the integration is working correctly. If you need to adjust the presentation message or the bot ID, go to "Content" > "Bot Fields" in NicoChat and make the changes to the value, not to the name or the description.
