How to get the credentials
To connect Cal.com, you first need your API Token. To get the token, go to Settings > API Keys in the Cal.com dashboard.
How to connect to NicoChat
- In NicoChat, go to Integrações.
- Select Cal.com.
- Paste the API Token generated in Cal.com and save.
Once connected, Cal.com actions become available as action blocks in the flow builder — you no longer need to install or manage a separate NicoApp.
Available actions
- Get User Profile — retrieves the profile data of the user connected in Cal.com.
- Generate Booking URL — generates a scheduling link that can be sent to the contact so they can pick the time themselves.
- Find Booking — searches for existing bookings.
- Create Booking — creates a new booking directly from the flow.
- Get Booking — gets the details of a specific booking.
- Reschedule Booking — changes the date and time of an existing booking.
- Cancel Booking — cancels a booking.
- Confirm Booking — confirms a pending booking.
- Decline Booking — declines a pending booking.
- Mark Absence — marks a time slot/day as unavailable (absence) in the calendar.
- Get Calendar Links — returns the links for adding the appointment to external calendars (Google Calendar, Outlook, ICS).
Usage example
In the flow builder, add an action block and choose the Cal.com category. Select the action you want (for example, "Generate Booking URL") and map the required fields (contact email, event type, etc.) using flow variables.
Save the result of the action (such as the scheduling link) in a custom field to display it in a message or attach it to a button.
