TikTok
The TikTok channel has arrived at NicoChat! You can now connect your TikTok business account and manage messages, comments and interactions directly from the flow and automation builder.
The TikTok channel is currently available in all regions, except for:
- 🇬🇧 United Kingdom
- 🇨🇭 Switzerland
- 🇪🇺 European Union countries
These restrictions are set by TikTok itself and will be removed as soon as access is officially released for these regions.
- Go to the NicoChat Dashboard → Channels
- Click Add Channel
- Choose TikTok (Beta)
- Click Connect TikTok Business account
- Log in to your TikTok account and grant the requested permissions
After the connection, the channel appears in your list of connected channels.
After connecting your account, you can:
- Create a new chatbot on TikTok
- Set up automated flows using the visual builder
- Use TikTok-specific triggers and actions
At the moment, TikTok allows only the following message types:
Inside the flow builder, in the Advanced Actions menu, the following API operations are available:

You will find two types of triggers:
- TikTok Comment Created
Fires when someone comments on one of your videos.
→ Returns: video_id, comment_id, parent_comment_id, full comment content (JSON) - TikTok Ad Referral
Fires when a user interacts with a TikTok ad connected to your business account.
These triggers let you start automated flows based on real interactions on your videos and ads.
When a comment comes in:
- You can store the data in a custom JSON field
- Extract the following fields:
video_id,comment_id,parent_comment_id - Use this data to:
fetch video information (e.g. caption, product mentioned); generate a context-aware AI reply; reply to the comment automatically.

- 🇻🇳 Vietnam
- 🇮🇩 Indonesia
- 🇹🇭 Thailand
In addition:
- The account must be a business account or have run message ads on TikTok.
- Message permissions must be set to “Request” within TikTok.
In the Settings → TikTok menu, you can configure:
Message shown automatically when someone starts a conversation with your account.
These are conversation starters shown in the TikTok chat.
Each account can have up to 6 suggested questions, such as:
“How can I schedule an appointment?”
You can build smart AI automations on TikTok:
- Receive a comment on the video
- Look up the video content (caption or product)
- Generate a personalized reply with AI
- Reply to the comment automatically
Example:
The flow fetches the video title (‘Nike Air Sneakers’), sends it to the AI model and automatically replies with the price and the link.”
